This is going to be very personal. here I go, first off, I’ll miss my girlfriend dearly. She’ll be going to China until next year for school which is understandable. I mean I’m excited for her to go because it’s a rare chance that this happens to a person yet, I don’t want her to go as well because she’ll be very far away from me and her friends/family. why not stop her? can’t…it was already set in stone before we even dated. I will admit that we haven’t been dating for a long but it still hurts a lot. the person you like a lot is leaving for a long time. People or some of my friends tell me, “that sucks. good luck dude” or “why bother waiting for so long?” or “fuck girl. you don’t need them. all you need is your friends and family to make you happy.” or somewhere in those lines. I find it ironic when that certain person (who said that last quote) shows off when he sees a girl that he likes. hypocrite much? nah, I can’t judge. anyways, I have my reasons why for waiting. It’s pretty simple, I believe. I like her a lot. cliche as it may sound, but it’s true. I’m going to be loyal to her but that’s just me though. why bother breaking up with her? She hasn’t done anything bad to me. I will stand here waiting for her until she comes back then we will continue to date…at least that’s my idea/plan until god knows what. we’ve been seeing each other for good while talking and whatnot then I didn’t ask her out until last month. if it wasn’t for her to initiate our relationship, then I wouldn’t as happy as I am with her now. I’ll just have another crush because I’ll be afraid to talk to her and ask her out. To say the least, I’m grateful to have her in my life. No, this is not love at first sight. we’ve been through a bit of stuff together…nothing bad…but laughs, smiles, tears, and enjoyment from each another. All in all, I like her a lot.

I encourage doodling in my classes. If a student hands in something that’s been doodled on, I try to add to the doodle or positively comment on it.
Wouldn’t it be great if creative students were allowed to use doodles as their assignment products to communicate what they had learned!
